Illinois Department of Transportation making final flood debris pickup Friday.MACHESNEY PARK - State crews are making their final rounds cleaning up debris from flood-damaged homes in Machesney Park.
People should have all their sandbags, yard waste and other flood debris placed on their curb Friday. Hazardous materials like gas, paint, chemicals and tires will not be picked up.
After Friday, residents will be responsible for getting rid of any remaining debris on their own.
