MACHESNEY PARK - The Rockford area loses another restaurant. The Monical's Pizza off Route 173 has closed down.
A sign was put on the front doors that told customers because of the "economic climate," the restaurant had been sold and Monical's could shut down. It said the space was going to turn into a "Fiesta Cancun."
Monical's has restaurants across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. It's already taken the Machesney Park location off its website.
