ROCKFORD - A man arrested for exposing himself at the Rockford YMCA is now charged with sexually abusing a teenager in an unrelated case.
Mikhail Kasyanyuk, 33, was charged Tuesday with aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Prosecutors say he abused a teenage boy from August 2006 to February of this year.
Kasyanyuk was supposed to be in court Wednesday, but didn't show up. Now there's a warrant for his arrest. A detective investigating the case says family told him Kasyanyuk might have taken off to Ukraine.
He is the same man arrested for allegedly exposing himself at the Rockford YMCA in February. The YMCA revoked his membership right away. Police say the two cases are not related.
