ROCKFORD (WREX) - Rockford Police look for two men who robbed a bank this afternoon.
Around 4:50pm the two walked into the Members Alliance Credit Union at 6951 Olde Creek Road. Police say one of the men went inside and demanded money. He said he had a gun, but didn't show it. They got the money and took off in a tan four door stolen vehicle. The LEAC helicopter was called in and helped find the car, but the suspects were no where to be found. Police gave us a couple of security camera pictures of the guy who did it. He's described as black, 5'10" to 6'2" who weights around 230 pounds and has a large build. He was wearing a red shirt or scarf over his face, black long sleeve shirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
If you have any information call Rockford Police at (815) 987-5824 or Crime Stoppers (815) 963-7867.
