WREX.com – Rockford’s News LeaderRMTD bus destroyed in fire at terminal

ROCKFORD (WREX) - A RMTD bus parked inside the terminal Tuesday night catches fire and is destroyed.
Investigators believe an electrical problem sparked the fire around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. The bus had been parked in the terminal since 3:40 p.m. that afternoon.
The bus' windshield, dash and engine compartment suffered heavy damage and is considered a total loss.
No one was hurt.
