South Beloit City Park flooded in 2008.By Samantha Ptashkin
SOUTH BELOIT (WREX) - A park in South Beloit might re-open after sitting under flood waters for nearly two years.
South Beloit City Park closed in June 2008 after heavy flooding hit the region. Right now the city's working to get rid of mud covering the bike path and nearby roads so fishermen can get out to the lake.
If good weather sticks around, the playground and baseball diamond could also re-open by summer.
