
WOODSTOCK (WREX) - Police have seized two tons of marijuana from two homes in northern Illinois.
The pot is valued at $6.6 million. Officers found say they found 4,400 pounds of pot growing and 500 pounds of dried marijuana that was ready for packaging in a Marengo home and a home near Woodstock.
The homes were equipped with grow lights, drip lines, ventilation, air purification units and illegal power lines.
Six family members face charges and police say they may be making more arrests as the investigation continues to unfold.
