Tavieus T. SimmonsROCKFORD (WREX) - Two men are wanted after allegedly abducting a woman and her child at gunpoint in Rockford.
The incident happened Wednesday night. Officers were called to South Main Street and Knowlton Avenue for a reported kidnapping. A 20-year-old woman and her 1-year-old son were abducted at gunpoint and forced into a vehicle.
After three hours police were able to negotiate the safe release of the woman and her child in the area of Auburn Street and Kilburn Avenue.
Isaiah Harris Sr., 20, is wanted on a warrant for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated unlawful restraint. He is the woman's ex-boyfriend.
Tavieus Simmons is wanted on the same charges.
