Pamela GreerROCKFORD (WREX) - A woman arrested in connection with a 2007 murder in Winnebago County admits to a lesser charge.
Pamela Greer, 43, pled guilty to Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. Prosecutors dropped the murder charge against her because they say the facts didn't support it.
Greer and Franklin Lofton were accused of killing 67 year-old Wilber Harnden in 2007 at the Indian Hills Forest Preserve.
Lofton was found guilty Monday.
Greer will be sentenced in May.
