BOONE COUNTY (WREX) - Two Belvidere teenagers plead not guilty to stabbing another teen.
David Berrera, 17, and Peter Hernandez, 17, entered those pleas in court Friday.
The two teens, along with a 15-year-old from Poplar Grove were arrested after 19-year-old Brian Serratos was stabbed more than a dozen times at a home on Glenwood Drive in Belvidere.
Serratos survived the attack. Berrera and Hernandez are charged with attempted murder and armed violence. Police say both teens are known gang members.
