ROCKFORD (WREX)- A new year's celebration in Rockford caters to children and their families.
The Discovery Center Museum hosted a kid-style party this afternoon. Children got to ring in the new year with music, noisemakers and of course a confetti drop.
They also played games and did some art projects put together by the Rockford Art Museum. "They can make noisemakers to take home for their own little parties at home, they can bring home some confetti we dropped down, and they can make crowns with our good friends from the art museum," said Rick Shark, who hosted the Countdown to Fun.
