ROCKFORD (WREX) - A car fire slowed morning traffic on Interstate 90 in Rockford this morning.
The Illinois Tollway Authority says the right lane of I-90 eastbound near the Kishwaukee River was blocked by a vehicle that caught fire around 9:15 a.m.
Crews put the flames out and re-opened that lane to traffic about 40 minutes later.
