UNDATED (WREX) - Illinois driver's license facilities will switch to winter hours starting on Monday.
Facilities that are open Tuesday through Saturday will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Friday. On Saturday they will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
"Changing the hours gives us an opportunity to serve the public while it's still light out," said Secretary of State Jesse White. "We hope it makes it more convenient for them to take care of their business with us especially during the holiday season."
The winter hours remain in effect through February 27, 2010.
