ROCKFORD (WREX) - A Rockford City Council Committee says nFactor can start back up, but under new leadership.
The group will be part of the Rockford Youth Initiative. The nFactor was managed by the city. It encourages kids to do positive things, and give back to the community. It kind of fell apart. The Finance and Personnel Committee signed an agreement to get it started again.
Gerald Lott will help run the program. "We would like to see the youth of Rockford and the surrounding area because we actually will be working with kids in Winnebago and Boone Counties, come together and say what's important to them and then put effort towards that."
Lott says they're planning an nFactor re-launch party in January.
