ROCKFORD (WREX) - Another gloomy and wet forecast forces the cancelation of the Rockford Park District's "Spooktacular Festival".
Friday evening was set to be the final night for the event. All the programs and activities were canceled due to heavy rain fall which produced standing water on the trails making conditions unsafe for the rides.
The weather forced the park district to cancel the event last Friday as well.
