JANESVILLE (WREX) - A 31-year-old Rockford man was sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison in a drug case.
Raymond Gray, 31, of Rockford, was sentenced to 130 months in prison for possessing 36 grams of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Gray pleaded guilty in the case on July 21.
Gray was given a longer sentence because he has prior drug trafficking convictions and he had a weapon when officers arrested him in the Janesville drug bust on September 8, 2008. Officers seized 36 grams of crack cocaine, over $4,000 in cash, and a loaded .40 caliber handgun at the time of his arrest.
