
UNDATED (NBC NEWS) - An e-coli warning about cookie dough is now confirmed.
Nestle recalled Toll House Refrigerated Cookie dough over fears of possible e-coli contamination.
Now the Food and Drug Administration confirms the presence of the bacterium in a sample from a Virginia plant.
69 people in 29 states have been sickened, with 34 of them hospitalized.
According to Nestle, the recall covers all varieties of its Toll House refrigerated cookie bar dough, cookie dough tubs, cookie dough tubes, limited edition cookie dough items, seasonal cookie dough and Ultimates cookie bar dough.
Some brownie doughs are also affected.
