ROCKFORD (WREX) - Rockford firefighters battle an afternoon fire.
They got to 327 Foster Avenue within four minutes Thursday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. There was heavy smoke coming from the back and a lot of flames inside.
Investigators say it's a vacant house and utilities were off, so they're not sure how the fire started.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
