We are excited to be offering a new weather service to you! The new 13 Your Cast desktop weather icon keeps you informed of important weather information whenever you are logged into the Internet! This small, downloadable icon runs in your Microsoft Windows® system tray and delivers valuable personal forecast page information and severe weather information, along with the current temperature -- directly to your computer desktop!

Current Temperature - The current temperature is always available right next to the clock that appears in the lower right hand corner of your screen, in your system tray, whenever you are connected to the Internet:

Severe Weather - While connected to the Internet, the desktop weather icon constantly monitors severe weather to determine if there are any severe weather alerts for your area in effect, immediately notifying you of severe weather alerts by playing a sound, by flashing, and by changing colors. You can then quickly access the severe weather map and information on your personal forecast page for complete details about just issued National Weather Service watches, warnings, or advisories.
 
Personal Forecast Updates - The desktop weather icon lets you know when you have new forecast information available! The icon will change colors, flash and make a subtle sound to let you know that you can check your personal forecast page for updated weather information.
