
SPRINGFIELD (WREX) - The Illinois State Board of Education and Northern Illinois University announced 989 schools that made the Illinois Honor Roll for their continued academic progress.
"This list of schools is inspiring and significant,'' said State Superintendent Christopher A. Koch. "We have teachers, administrators, students and community members to thank for the hard work that leads to academic improvement and consistent high performance.''
