File PhotoCHERRY VALLEY - The Cherry Valley Planning Commission approves plans for a Sonic restaurant near the mall.
The planned site is near the Menards on Perryville Road across from CherryVale Mall. The site plan now goes to the Planning and Development Committee. If it's approved there, it will go to the full village board.
Sonic operates hundreds of fast-food restaurants across the country, including 31 in Illinois.
