SPRINGFIELD - If Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn takes over for embattled Governor Rod Blagojevich it could mean good news for recently closed state parks.
Quinn says if Blagojevich leaves office, he'll review the governor's recent initiatives and may make some changes. One of the things Quinn wants to do is re-open the seven state parks and 11 historic sites that were shut down last month.
Castle Rock and Lowden State Parks in Ogle County were on the list of sites forced to close because of budget cuts.
