Aurora police release a picture of a missing boy that was taken just two days before he was last seen.
Timmothy Pitzen, 6, was last seen May 13 with his mother Amy Fry-Pitzen checking out of a Wisconsin Dells resort. He was last heard from in the background of a cell phone called made by Amy to a relative that day. That call and others made by Amy that Friday afternoon has been traced to the Sterling/Rock Falls area. Police searched that area last week, but found no clues to Timmothy's whereabouts.
Amy Fry-Pitzen was found dead inside the Rockford Motel on 11th Street on Saturday, May 14. She left behind a suicide note saying Timmothy was fine and was in the care of unnamed persons.
Police say they are operating under the assumption that Timothy is alive, but they are growing more concerned about his well being with each passing day.
Timothy is 4'2", weighs approximately 70 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. Anyone who may have information on the case is asked to call Aurora Police at (630) 256-5500, or their local authorities by dialing 9-1-1.
