10 charities getting money from Rockford Cosmopolitan Club

10 area charitable organizations will share a more than $20,000 donation from the Rockford Cosmopolitan Club.

The checks will be presented at Forest Hills Country Club on Thursday, April 28 to the Rock River Valley Pantry, Sounds of Good News (SOGN) Productions, Rockford Park District Youth Golf Program, Center for Sight & Hearing, Westminster Presbyterian Church (The Stateline Project), Carpenter's Place, The First Tee of Greater Rockford, Midway Village Museum, The Rosecrance Foundation and University of Illinois Extension Winnebago County.

The money will be used for various community projects.
