ROCKFORD (WREX) - A Pulitzer Prize winning journalist comes to Rockford College.
Sheryl WuDunn will be speaking about her book "Half the Sky". It's about the challenges women face both overseas and in the United States. In part of the book she focuses on sex trafficking, which she says in a growing problem that more women in the U.S. should know about. "For teenage girls I really think it's important to be aware of the subject. I don't think you need to go into it as a professional, but be aware so that you know what the dangers are that face you."
WuDunn speaks again Tuesday at 7:30pm at Rockford College's Maddox Theater.
