Rebecca started her career at WREX in 2006 an associate producer of 13 News Weekend.  She moved up working as a producer on 13 News at Noon, 5 and 13 News Today.  She is now one of our morning anchors.

She covered the London 2012 Olympics for WREX. Rebecca reported live from Olympic Park.

Rebecca graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. She then interned for the President of MSNBC before coming to WREX.

"I love everything about the news from keeping up to date about what's going on in the community to being the first to tell someone the latest information," said Rebecca.

When she's not at work, Rebecca loves to be active.  She rides her horse, hikes, skis, bikes and roller blades.

Rebecca is originally from Woodstock, Illinois.

  • I've been on the Bozo Show three times. I even got to dance with Cookie the Clown.
  • When I was 7 years-old I got to anchor a fake newscast at the Children's Museum in Chicago.
  • I ran the Chicago Marathon.
