Princeton Review gives Rockford College high marks

By Katie Nilsson

ROCKFORD (WREX) -  Rockford College is named one of the best colleges in the Midwest for the seventh year in a row.

New York-based Princeton Review specializes in resources on colleges for prospective students.  It ranks colleges in the Midwest region on academic excellence.

Rockford College was one of only 19 schools in Illinois that was put in the "best colleges" category.  Princeton Review makes its selections based on institutional data it gets from the colleges.  Representatives also visit colleges over the years, and get opinions from high school and independent advisors.  For the past two years, Rockford College has also been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for its campus engagement in the community.
