UNDATED (WREX) - A man who has been going around to television stations claiming to be a yo-yo champion has been revealed as a fraud.

Kenny Strasser has made several appearances on local television stations, including WREX on 13 News Today in April, claiming to be a yo-yo champion who travels around to schools to share a message of how the yo-yo's he uses are environmentally friendly.

He claims to be the world's first "green" yo-yo non-profit toymaker and says he is in town on a "Keepin' It Green" tour.

The press release he sends to stations says Kenny is a dynamic talk show guest who comes equipped with a roster of amazing yo-yo tricks, juggling and fun tips about how kids and adults alike can take small steps to make the world a "greener" place.

Then when he appears on the show, he often goes off topic, creates awkward situations and comes across as an average at best yo-yo player.

Strasser was discovered to be a fraud after recent appearances at television stations in Wisconsin.

Attempts to contact Strasser and the contact information provided in his press release have failed and no one is sure where he is.
