BELOIT (WREX) - Filmmakers head to Beloit to show off their new works for the Beloit International Film Festival.
Director Christopher Comrie says the festival is a great place for networking.
"Its really about getting out there and meeting the audience and meeting people who might be interested in helping you with your next film or distributing this film and just learning how the film is received," Comrie said.
The festival runs through Sunday.
Before the festival started, awards were handed out for different categories. Here's a list of the winners:
Best Screenplay: The Devil's Tail
Best Soundtrack: Fairview St.
Best Student film: Bonefeather
Best Wisconsin Film: Annie Lloyd
Best Animation: The Magistical
Best Short: A Sign Story
Best Documentary: The Secret of Oz
Best Feature: Artois the Goat
