
Timothy Newcomer
ROCKFORD (WREX)- A visitation will be held later today for a marine from Winnebago, who was found dead at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Nineteen-year-old Timothy J. Newcomer's body was found almost two weeks ago between two main roads, just north of the military base. The naval criminal investigative service is looking in to his death.
Newcomer enlisted in 2008, after graduating from Jefferson High School.
The visitation goes from 5-8 p.m. at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Rockford. It's open to the public.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at Saint Rita's Church in Rockford.
