Until then, the Odd/Even parking rules remain in effect. Anyone parked on city streets needs to have their car on the even side of the street today.
City plows are still cleaning up and salting area streets.
This year the City of Rockford says it has 11,000 tons of salt on hand and a contract that lets it get up to 26,000 tons of salt in case it needs to order more later.
The city is warning people that because of the tighter budget year, you may see a delay in city crews clearing residential streets.
