Meet Excalibur Award finalist Frank Beach

ROCKFORD (WREX)- This week 13 News takes a look at the finalists for this year's Excalibur Award.

Frank Beach, a longtime Rockford alderman and community volunteer leads off the list. Beach has represented the city's 10th ward for 29 years and is also active in Kids Around the World and the Salvation Army, among other groups. He says he was humbled to find out he had been nominated. "I actually have no feeling. I'm numb, because I would not expect that to happen," Beach said. "I think of all the other people that are more deserving than I'll ever be."
