CHICAGO (AP) -- The Better Business Bureau has advice for shoppers seeking electronics deals online. The Chicago-based group says know the red flags so you don't get ripped off.
Here are warning signs:
--The prices are too good to be true. If they're well below trusted competitors, there's probably a catch.
--Watch for Web sites full of spelling or grammar errors, and businesses that accept wire transfer payments only.
--The business has a bad rating with the business bureau. Always check.
--The site uses fake seals from certifying organizations. Click on the seal. If it's real you should get a link to the certifier's site. But double-check that Web address to make sure it's legit.
