MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The Wisconsin Humane Society has a new executive director.
The Wisconsin Humane Society has selected Milwaukee attorney Anne Reed for the post, succeeding Victoria Wellens. She led the group for 15 years before dying in March.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Reed serves on the board of Meta House, a Milwaukee substance abuse treatment center and has served on the board of Legal Action of Wisconsin.
For the last 28 years, she has worked in litigation for Reinhart Boerner, a firm focusing on business law.
