Joe Sosnowski (R)ROCKFORD (WREX) - Rockford Alderman Joe Sosnowski is formally kicking off his bid for State Representative.
Sosnowski is holding an event at Giovanni’s Restaurant from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Sosnowski will focus his efforts on job growth, improving the state budget, and better education. “Jobs. Schools. Spending. These are the major items that people are focused on. We need to grow jobs with existing companies. We need to market ourselves better to new 21st century industry. We need to increase accountability in our schools. We need to fix the state budget now by correcting run away pensions, reducing spending, and improving efficiency in all areas,” Sosnowski said.
Sosnowski is running against Thadd Loffelmacher and Michelle Corirossi in the republican primary in February.
Ray Pendzinski is running on the democratic side.
