ROCKFORD (WREX) - The Department of Justice comes to Rockford to discuss the officer-involved shooting of Mark Barmore.

Representives from the City of Rockford, NAACP, Rockford Mininsters Association, LULAC and the Rockford Police union met Thursday night. The groups discussed issues related to the fatal shooting of Mark Barmore by officers Oda Poole and Stan North. The incident happened back in August when Barmore was shot and killed inside a church-run daycare.

The meeting was facilitated by the DOJ's Conciliation Specialists. Everyone who took part in the discussion agreed not to talk about it until after the mediation process is over.
