COLUMBUS, OHIO (WREX) - The legacy of former WREX News Anchor Heather Pick is being carried on at a cancer run in Ohio.
The television station Heather moved to Columbus to work for after leaving WREX is putting together "Heather's Team" to run in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure on May 16 in Columbus.
Those who register to be part of the team will receive a T-Shirt with Heather's picture on the front and a pink wig like she wore during one of her final television appearances in Ohio. The cost is $45 with all proceeds going to Komen Columbus in her honor.
The team already has more than 1,500 members. You do not need to attend the race to register and help donate to the cause.
